EduGrow is a preschool education management ecosystem designed for administrators, teachers, and parents . We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This policy explains how we handle sensitive user and device data within our platform.

2. Information Collection and Use

To provide a comprehensive educational tracking service, EduGrow collects the following information:

• User Account Data: Names and contact information for administrators, teachers, and parents created by the Admin .

• Student Data: Names, class assignments, and attendance records (Present / Not Present / Excused) .

• Daily Reports & Development: Daily activities including meals, sleep patterns, mood, toilet use, and developmental milestones (Cognitive, Social, Language, Motor, Self-care) .

• Media Content: Photos and videos uploaded to the "Class Flow" gallery, which may include student tags .

• Communication: Secure messaging between parents and teachers .

3. Data Protection and Children’s Privacy

Since our target audience includes children under 13, we adhere to strict safety standards:

• No Public Access: Data is only accessible to authorized parents, teachers, and administrators via role-based authentication .

• Admin Control: Administrators can enable or disable messaging and gallery features to ensure a controlled environment .
  
  
• Data Purpose: Information is collected solely for educational tracking and parental updates, not for advertising.

4. Technical Data and Permissions

• Push Notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for real-time alerts (attendance, new messages). Users can opt-out via settings .

• Security: The app uses React 18, TypeScript, and REST API (PHP/MySQL) with session-based authentication to secure data .

• Device Permissions: The app may request access to the camera/gallery for teachers to upload student photos .

5. Data Sharing and Transparency

• Third-Party Services: We use the Gemini API to assist teachers in professionalizing daily notes .

• No Sale of Data: We do not sell user or student data to third parties.

• User Rights: Parents can view all data related to their child through the dashboard .
